Former Wisconsin District Attorney General Schimel Visits Lincoln County Fair As Part Of Northwoods Tour
Blue Jay 96.3’s Steve Resnick had the opportunity to spend some time with Brad Schimel, former Wisconsin District Attorney General at the
Lincoln County Fair yesterday.
Schimel is currently on a tour of the Great Northwoods promoting his bid for the Wisconsin Supreme Court as the Conservative Candidate on the April 2025 ballot. When asked about why he decided to make this run, Shimmel reflected on last year’s supreme court election process, stating “The Candidate who won, two thirds of her money came from outside the state of Wisconsin” and that “Wisconsinites need to decide who serves on their Supreme Court”. Shimmel then shared passionately “I’m gonna work hard to make this a Wisconsin owned Court”. Schimel was also asked as he moves forward with the anticipation of being a Supreme Court Judge in Wisconsin what he hopes to accomplish and what the issues are that he is looking at on that judicial agenda, to which he responded “My plan is I will follow the law and I will follow the Constitution as I make decisions. I will remain objective until I hear all of the evidence”.
